‘There’s no way’: Some Arsenal fans refuse to believe ‘crazy rumours’ surrounding Wenger signings

FC Barcelona are reportedly eager on Arsenal duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

According to Sport, the Catalan giants are keen on both strikers as a replacement for Martin Braithwaite. Barcelona are eager to offload the Danish striker.

And to replace the 29-year-old attacker, the La Liga side have identified Aubameyang and Lacazette. Moreover, the duo could leave north London this summer.

The Arsenal captain has been in poor form over the past 12 months. Whilst Lacazette’s contract with the Gunners is expires next summer.

Indeed, the two strikers face an uncertain future with Arsenal, and Ronald Koeman’s side could be an ideal destination for the attackers.

However, Barcelona won’t be able to offer Arsenal a transfer fee for either Aubameyang or Lacazette given their financial problems. Meaning a swap deal will have to take place between the two clubs.

With this in mind, it is highly unlikely that Mikel Arteta will accept a swap deal for two of his star players. And Arsenal fans on social media couldn’t help but laugh at Barcelona’s audacious plan.
