Aaron Ramsdale is in an unenviable position at Arsenal right now.
The goalkeeper hasn’t done all that much wrong for the Gunners, but he finds himself very much out of Mikel Arteta’s plans with no real solution on the horizon.
Ramsdale has lost his place in the Arsenal team, and it won’t be long before he’s completely out of the England reckoning as well if this continues.
Speaking on the Premier League All Access Podcast, Scott Minto has been discussing Ramsdale and his father’s comments about his lack of minutes this week, and the pundit came to the conclusion that the goalkeeper won’t be staying at Arsenal for much longer as it’s now obvious that David Raya is the clear first-choice.

Ramsdale won’t be staying
Minto shared his verdict on the £25m man’s future.
“I don’t get the point of him doing that. I understand from a fatherly point of view. Your son is being pushed out of Arsenal, I think unfairly, there’s no way he will stay and fight for his place because the decision has already been made, it’s David Raya, if he wants to be the number two at Arsenal, then fine, but he’s better than that,” Minto said.
Where can he go?
We tend to agree that Ramsdale should have his eyes on a move away from Arsenal in the near future, but we can’t for the life of us think of where he should go.
The goalkeeping market is a real mess right now.
The likes of David De Gea and Hugo Lloris are both finding it impossible to find new clubs, and with Arsenal likely to command a big transfer fee for Ramsdale, it’s hard to imagine it will be easy for him to get this move either.
Ramsdale does need an Arsenal exit, but, right now, there doesn’t appear to be a viable escape route.
