Tottenham lost to Arsenal this weekend and with Manchester United winning their game, questions over who will make the top four are being asked again.
As always, the objective for Spurs and United this season is to crack that quartet at the top and secure Champions League football for next season.
However, Tottenham have won just once all season while United remain inconsistent, winning two and losing another two.
Both Erik ten Hag and Ange Postecoglou will want more from their squads as the season continues.
But according to former United forward Dwight Yorke, there is a clear winner as it stands when it comes to Spur and United’s battle for the top four.

Dwight Yorke picks Manchester United over Tottenham in top four race
Speaking on BEIN Sports about the race for the top four, Yorke was asked by Richard Keys if he feels Tottenham or Manchester United have a better chance of making the top four.
And Yorke, eventually, backed his former club.
“It is a good question. I think Man United has got a good chance. ” Yorke said.
Then, with Keys suggesting that Chelsea, Liverpool, City, Tottenham and Arsenal are all better destinations
“I disagree with you on two of them. If you put Chelsea and Tottenham ahead of Man United, that’s not happening.
“There’s no way Tottenham are ahead of Manchester United, no way. As bad as we may be right now, current position, Tottenham is not ahead of Man United, in any department. Well, beautiful stadium, I’ll give you that.”
United and Spurs could both miss out
While the argument here is about Tottenham and Man United, the stark reality is that both clubs could end up missing out on the top four.
As we can see, the likes of Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle are now all in the mix as well, while Brighton won’t be too far away if they continue on their trajectory.

There is an assumption that Liverpool, City and Arsenal will be the top three and that is probably spot on as it stands.
For United and Spurs, then, there is a very realistic chance of them both coming up short.
