Mateusz Klich has undergone quite the transformation.
Before Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival at the club, not many fans would have expected him to be in the Leeds side this term, let alone receive an international call-up.
But that’s how good his form has been. A combination of Poland’s dreadful World Cup campaign and Klich’s outstanding displays so far this season has got him back into the squad.
Unfortunately his return to the international fold did not work out as planned.

The Poles were beaten 3-2 on their own patch by European champions Portugal and Klich was unable to lay a glove on the visitors’ midfield; which included the Premier League class of the likes of Bernardo Silva and Ruben Neves.
That could easily panic Leeds fans; has one of their star men this season hit a wall? Will he lose confidence?
There’s no real need to worry; Poland are struggling badly in general at the moment and Klich was mainly a victim of that against Portugal.
It can only be good experience for Klich to come up against such an experienced and well-oiled international outfit; he will only learn from it and bring that back to Leeds. His star will continue to rise.
