Arsenal need a new striker through the door this summer.
The north London club have struggled in terms of finding a reliable source of goals this season from their centre-forward, and there’s a school of thought that Arsenal need a new striker in the summer.
So, who could Arsenal sign? Well, they’ve been linked with almost every attacker under the sun as of late, and speaking on Premier League Productions, Theo Walcott has suggested a potential new addition for the Gunners.

Theo Walcott suggests striker signing for Arsenal
Walcott spoke about Ollie Watkins after this weekend’s game against Aston Villa, and he suggested that he’d be a fantastic signing for Arsenal.
“They will invest in that player and that player could well have been playing on the opposite side here,” Walcott said.
“I am indeed (talking about Ollie Watkins). I feel he is the sort of player that Arsenal would look to. What I really like about Ollie Watkins is you look at his style and you think he is a winger, he reminds me, and it’s one of the best compliments I’m going to give him, but like a Thierry Henry. Played out on the left a lot. He wanted to be a forward, but drifted out on the left and he’s such a threat on the counter.
“I feel like, when he goes through, he is going to score, that’s how confident he is playing right now. There will be a lot of teams sniffing, I am pretty sure right now. He is very different.”
Ollie Watkins would be perfect for Arsenal
There aren’t many strikers in world football who are better suited to Mikel Arteta’s side than Ollie Watkins.
Premier League proven, a clinical finisher and a tireless worker, Watkins would be immense for the Gunners.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, getting this deal done won’t be easy, and, in all honesty, it’s hard to see the Gunners getting Watkins through the door this summer.
