Arsenal and Manchester City look to be the last two teams standing in the title race.
Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola are once again set to go head-to-head for the title after Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool lost more ground with a loss against Everton on Wednesday evening.
So, who is going to win the league? Well, with so many games to go it’s very difficult to call it.
However, speaking to TNT Sports, Gary Lineker has given his prediction, and he says that he still fancies Arsenal to get the job done, even if, deep down, he’d back Man City if he had to put his life on it.

Gary Lineker’s Premier League prediction
Lineker spoke about how he thinks the title race will pan out.
“The truth is I don’t know, I mean you can say what you want you know whether it could be one of the three and it could be any of them I think, but if you had to put your life on it you’d probably go with Manchester City because they’re in the prime spot now, it’s in their hands and they have a tendency to win every game,” Lineker said.
“But I went for Arsenal at the start of the season mainly because we do a podcast with Shearer and Micah Richards and they both went for Manchester City so I thought someone has to be different, but I also thought they would push this season because they’re gradually improving, so I’m going to stick with Arsenal, but with no confidence whatsoever, it could be any of the three it really could be and none of us know, we don’t and that’s the whole part of it,” Lineker said.
Arsenal and Man City’s grandstand finish
It’s so hard to call who will win the league from here, but one thing is for sure, we look to be in for a grandstand finish.
If all goes to plan, this will go down to the final day of the season, and anything can happen there.
Of course, City are favourites as their fate lies in their own hands, but, at the same time, they have more games to play, and therefore, more opportunities to slip-up.
This could be one of the most memorable conclusions to a Premier League season we’ve had in years.
