4. Demarai Gray
A young man plying his trade for Birmingham City who seems to have been known about for a long while, Demarai Gray finally got his chance to play in England’s top league. Birmingham had been reluctant to let him leave, knowing what a talent they had, yet a clause in his contract allowed Leicester to purchase the 19-year-old for as little as £3.75 million.
As a regular in the England U21 side and a player with time on his side, Gray; who impressed in the FA Cup game against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, could turn out to be an absolute steal of a signing. In half a season at Birmingham, Gray created 30 chances but only notched up a solitary assist to his name. With much more potent strikers now around him at the KP Stadium; namely Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki, Gray’s talent in the wide areas supplying strikers is sure to come to fruition.
