Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards will leave his position at the club next summer.

According to the Atheltic’s David Ornstein, the Merseyside transfer guru will step down from the role at the end of his current contract. Edwards is credited for being one of the main people behind Liverpool’s rise over the years.
