Southampton haven’t had much to shout about so far this season, but Tyler Dibling has given fans a reason to smile in recent games.
The Saints have uncovered several talents over the years, including Theo Walcott.
It appears as if Southampton have their latest young gem, as Tyler Dibling continues to make the headlines with his performances in the Premier League.
This has led to the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham watching Dibling in action ahead of a potential move in 2025.
He’s already got a goal in the Premier League which came against Ipswich Town last time out to go with his two assists in the Carabao Cup.
Interestingly, his rise in form could be put down to one man in particular.

Adam Lallana has been mentoring Tyler Dibling at Southampton
Southampton signed Adam Lallana on a one-year contract in the summer.
The Englishman has only started 20% of Southampton’s games in the Premier League this season, but he does have two assists to his name.
According to Southampton academy director Andy Goldie’s LinkedIn, Adam Lallana has been mentoring Tyler Dibling.
His post stated.
‘Another truly special moment for Tyler, his family, and everyone at Southampton Football Club who has supported him since he was just nine years old.
The goal was made even more special with the assist coming from fellow Academy graduate Adam Lallana, whose mentorship has been priceless for Tyler and our young players since returning to the club this summer.’
What does Russell Martin make of Tyler Dibling?
Russell Martin has shared how impressed he is with the youngster, but he does acknowledge the fact that he will inevitably attract the attention of bigger clubs (as per Daily Echo).
“I think when you’re 18 and you’re playing in the Premier League at the level he has, then every club in the world probably looks at you.
“He’s ours. The club have turned down bids for him previously since I’ve been here. It’s not a secret to people who have watched under-21s football.
“He left the club and didn’t enjoy it where he went so he came back. We ultimately want what’s best for him and he has a great support network around him.
“We have to make sure he is constantly enjoying it and that we are playing a style that he can flourish in.
“The speculation is nothing for him or for me. We are in a strong position and I’m sure we will look at securing and strengthening that even more.
“If he carries on doing what he is doing then he will deserve that. He just needs to focus on football and concentrate on what he is doing.”
