Chelsea are working right up to the transfer deadline as they pursue a deal to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The West Londoners desperately trying to bring in Osimhen before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm tonight.
Enzo Maresca is eager to bring in a striker to complete his summer business but as it stands, Chelsea face a race against time to complete a deal.
With that said, Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has just issued the latest update on where the Osimhen deal stands.

Contract details holding up Victor Osimhen transfer to Chelsea
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Kaveh Solhekol explained why Chelsea’s pursuit of Osimhen is being held up.
“This is the latest information I have,” Solhekol said.
“Chelsea have not walked away from a deal for Victor Osimhen yet. They are now waiting to hear if the deal can proceed but I’m being told time is running out for the player to have a medical and make the move.
“But make no mistake, Chelsea are still to complete the deal and I’m being told the deal is behind held up not necessarily by the player’s wages but because of discussions over the incentives in the contract.”
Chelsea still working on Jadon Sancho deal
As well as Osimhen, Chelsea are also still working on a deal to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
“Chelsea’s move for Jadon Sancho is now up to Manchester United and the winger. The Blues have made loan bids with an obligation and an option to buy,” Solhekol said.
A frantic end to the window awaits the West Londoners…
