A number of Aston Villa fans have hails Villans academy star Tim Iroegbunam following his EFL Trophy display on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old midfielder only joined the Villa setup this summer, but he is making waves in claret and blue.
Iroegbunam has made 16 appearances for Villa’s U23s this season – 12 in the Premier League 2 and four in the EFL Trophy.

New Villa manager Steven Gerrard took a closer look at the academy ace in his first training session at the club, as per the Birmingham Mail.
And on Tuesday, Iroegbunam was the standout player in the EFL Trophy second-round loss at Charlton.
Although he gave away a penalty – an incredibly harsh decision – he looked a cut above most of the other players on the pitch.
“He was exceptional in this game,” the Birmingham Mail wrote about Iroegbunam after the 2-1 defeat.
“From his first touch to his defensive instinct, he looked a class above even the senior opposition at times.
“The penalty he gave away looked harsh, as he seemingly got a portion of the ball.
“Aside from this incident he was a real bright spark and was the constant driver the team would look for to drag them forward.”
Some Aston Villa fans were also impressed with Iroegbunam and hailed his efforts on Twitter:
