Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United this weekend in what promises to be an exciting Premier League encounter.

Spurs may be able to call on new signing Gareth Bale for the first time since his return to the club on loan, while the Hammers have won their last two games 4-0 and 3-0 meaning confidence will be high.

Given the way the majority of games have gone in 2020/21, goals should be plentiful at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Particular focus will be on the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Michail Antonio, but there is one battle that could be very watchable indeed and have a potentially significant bearing on the final result.

It is expected that Sergio Reguilon will start at left-back for Spurs after impressing since joining from Real Madrid for a reported £27 million (Independent), and David Moyes is likely to deploy 23-year-old Jarrod Bowen on West Ham’s right side once again.

The match-up could be a very tasty one, with both players known for their frightening pace.

Bowen is in fine fettle for the Hammers having scored three goals across West Ham’s two fantastic victories before the international break.

He is undoubtedly a danger man for the visitors and Reguilon could be in for a stern test.

But the Spaniard has shown fantastic promise so far, and is seemingly well-equipped to deal with Bowen in a physical sense.

The left-back has showcased that he is extremely quick, so has every chance to nullify the in-form 23-year-old.

At the moment, arguably, Bowen is the Iron’s most dangerous player so Reguilon coming out on top against him could be key to Spurs’ hopes for three points.
