The players who could leave Everton before today’s final deadline including Yannick Bolasie and Mo Besic

The transfer window will finally shut completely this evening, after being left slightly ajar for Premier League clubs to do business with those in the Football League.

For Everton, it looks unlikely that will mean any incomings, although there are still rumblings over a potential deal for Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

However, there are some players that might be on their way out of the club before the end of the day.

Yannick Bolasie looks like the most likely player to depart.

The DR Congo winger has previously confirmed a rather amicable discussion with Carlo Ancelotti in which he was told he would struggle for game time on the left-wing this season.

With the likes of Richarlison, Alew Iwobi, Bernard and Anthony Gordon ahead in the pecking order Bolasie is set to move away.

As reported by Sky Sports, Middlesbrough are keen on Bolasie, who worked with their current boss Neil Warnock at Crystal Palace.

Bolasie has previously spent time on loan at Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon.

Mo Besic is another player seemingly surplus to requirements at Goodison Park who has previously been out on loan from the club. The Bosnian has spent time at Middlesbrough and Sheffield United and would undoubtedly welcome another move.

There is currently nothing active being reported regarding a move but Everton will no doubt be hunting for a Championship location for the midfield dynamo.

Young midfielder Beni Baningime, who has previously been on loan with Wigan Athletic, looks unlikely to break back into the Everton first-team anytime soon. A move to Blackpool collapsed earlier this summer and a move to League One has been mooted. Fellow under-23 players who could leave on loan, according to the Liverpool ECHO, include former first-team prospect Matthew Pennington, England under-20 World Cup winner Callum Connolly and Nathan Broadhead if Everton can find appropriate locations.

Finally, there is the goalkeeper situation, following the arrival of Robin Olsen on loan from Roma.

However, as reported by the ECHO, both Jonas Lossl and Joao Virginia are set to remain. Lossl will rotate with Olsen as Jordan Pickford’s back-up. Virginia is set to be the club’s under-23 goalkeeper.

So that leaves Bolasie, Besic, Baningime, Pennington, Connolly and Broadhead as six players who Everton might be looking to move on today.
