Kristoffer Klaesson is the player that Leeds United’s Victor Orta most wants to sign, according to the Athletic.
Top target
Leeds United have been linked with three new goalkeepers this summer, as they look to replace Kiko Casilla.
It seems that Leeds are targeting a younger goalkeeper, who can compete with Ilian Meslier for a first-team place.
And Klaesson is said to be the one right on the top of their wishlist.
Phil Hay wrote in the Athletic that Orta has been tracking the 20-year-old for some time.
And he went on to back up the claims on the Phil Hay podcast, saying: “I think with the keepers it sounds like Kristoffer Klaesson at Valenrenga is the one they’d most like to get, real talent him.”
A burgeoning reputation
Klaesson’s reputation in England still remains fairly minimal, as he has only played in his native Norway so far.

But his showings for Valerenga have impressed, and he has been playing first team football for three years now.
If he was to sign for Leeds he would be an addition in a similar mould to Meslier when he signed.
The Frenchman’s talent was spotted early and he has now developed into one of the finest, young players in his position across European football.
