‘The next Szczesny’: Arsenal fans react as Hubert Graczyk pens new contract

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter today after the club confirmed that young goalkeeper, Hubert Graczyk, had signed a new contract with the club.

The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on professional terms with the Gunners, putting an end to any sort of worries the club might have had over losing another young talent.

The Gunners look set to lose Folarin Balogun this summer and are obviously keen to avoid similar situations with some of their other young stars coming through the ranks. Graczyk, it seems, is one of those highly-rated prospects on the books.

Having featured for the under-18s regularly, the stopper has been promoted to under-23 duty recently. He will, of course, be in it for the long game with Arsenal, with Bernd Leno, Mat Ryan, and Alex Runarsson all in the first-team.

But Arsenal fans on Twitter seem delighted to hear the news. They took to the social media platform in their droves to have their say Graczyk’s deal and it seems it’s gone down well with some supporters.
