‘The next Messi’: Arsenal fans laud Emile Smith Rowe for West Brom display

Arsenal fans were quick to praise Emile Smith Rowe last night after the young Gunners got his first Premier League goal in the win over West Brom.

The Gunners consigned Sam Allardyce’s men back to the Championship with a 3-1 win at The Emirates, with Smith Rowe, Nicolas Pepe, and Willian all getting on the scoresheet.

For Smith Rowe, it was a welcome relief to break that PL duck. Despite a number of fine performances and setting up others, that first goal had proved elusive until now.

The Arsenal academy graduate has gone from strength to strength since being given his chance by Mikel Arteta. Now a first XI regular, Smith Rowe proved himself last night once again and had plenty of fans talking on Twitter about his display.

The Gunners fans clearly love Smith Rowe and he’s a firm fan favourite already.  And last night, there was plenty of praise on Twitter as some Arsenal supporters made their feelings known about the youngster.
