It is transfer deadline day and Everton will be looking to conclude what has been a productive transfer window for the Premier League club.
The Toffees have completed eye-catching signatures such as Andre Gomes, Moise Kean, Jonas Lossl, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and, last night, World Cup winner Djibril Sidibe.
However, they also lost key midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye whilst talented youngsters Ademola Lookman and Jonjoe Kenny headed to Germany.
So who could be joining them in leaving Everton on deadline day?
Of course, relating to today, the likeliest movers are those targeted by fellow English clubs.
Matthew Pennington is one such player. The defender is set to join Hull City on loan, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Another defender linked with an Everton exit is Mason Holgate. The Sun reported that Burnley, Bournemouth and Sheffield United have all registered an interest in a potential £10 million deal for the player. Any exit would need to be concluded tomorrow and will surely depend on Everton’s own hunt for centre-back cover.
Cenk Tosun could be on his way to Crystal Palace as part of a deal for Wilfried Zaha. The Telegraph has reported Everton could offer Palace £70 million and Tosun for the Ivory Coast winger.
Bosnian international Mo Besic is also wanted. The Sun’s reliable Alan Nixon stated on Twitter yesterday that Fulham are keen on the midfielder.
Other players expected to leave this summer include Oumar Niasse, Yannick Bolasie and Henry Onyekuru.
Turkish source Fanatik has reported that Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are keen on Roberto Martinez flop Niasse.
As reported by Championat, DR Congo winger Bolasie has been offered to CSKA Moscow.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Monaco are set to pay £12 million for Nigerian forward Onyekuru.
None of these deals would need to be done today as the transfer windows in Turkey, Russia and France remain open.
Pennington looks like a definite exit is on the cards. A move to Fulham also looks possible for Besic. As for Tosun and Holgate, their futures seemingly rely on Everton bringing in Zaha and another centre-back. But it seems as though Everton could be moving on at least four players by the end of the day.
