To a man, every single one of Tottenham’s signings this summer looks to be a positive addition to the squad.
James Maddison and Micky Van de Ven have both been unbelievable since joining the north London club this summer, while the likes of Manor Solomon, Brennan Johnson and Alejo Veliz have also shown promising signs.
Guglielmo Vicario is another player who joined Spurs this summer, and he’s been utterly brilliant in recent weeks, despite a tough debut against Brentford.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Leroy Rosenior has, once again, named Vicario in his Team of the Week, owning up to the fact that he was way too quick to judge the goalkeeper after his shakey debut against the Bees.

Vicario judged too quickly
Rosenior gave his verdict on the £17m man.
“Mine was Vicario from Tottenham, Leno played really well, I can’t dispute that, but Vicario has been terrific for Tottenham. The first game he played I thought this guy is a bit shakey, but since that first game he’s been terrific, he makes big saves and his distribution has been terrific,” Rosenior said.
Bounced back
It has to be said that Vicario wasn’t amazing in that first game of the season against Brentford, but, since then, he’s bounced back brilliantly.
He’s made a number of eye-catching saves, including an incredible stop last week against Fulham from a header by Joao Palhinha, while his performance this week has earned him a place in Rosenior’s Team of the Week.
Tottenham had a massive job on their hands this summer when it came to replacing Hugo Lloris as their number one goalkeeper, and they’ve smashed it out of the park by unearthing Vicario.
In just 10 games, Vicario has already established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
