Jurgen Klopp has announced he’s leaving Liverpool.
The German stated on Friday morning that he would be leaving Anfield at the end of the season, and many are wondering what comes next for all parties.
Liverpool will, of course, be looking for a new manager this summer, while Klopp himself may be in the market for a new job before too long.
Klopp has stated that he won’t take another job for at least a year, but, as we all know, management can be addictive, and he could be back in the game before too long.
Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Klopp’s next steps, and he says that the Liverpool boss could well be the dream target for the German national team.

Klopp the dream Germany appointment
Romano spoke about the Liverpool boss’ future.
“He’s always been in the list of the best clubs in the world and he’s been the dream target for the German national team and he probably remains the dream target for the future of the German national team. I think Jurgen Klopp remains the dream of the people in the federation of the German national team for the future, not only the present,” Romano said.
Perfect job
This could be the perfect job for Klopp at this point in his career.
He’s clearly passionate about the German national team, and while he says he ran out of energy at Liverpool, it may be easier for him to keep his levels up if he’s managing a team that only plays a handful of times a year.
International management, for most of the year, is more relaxed than club management, and this could be the perfect way for Klopp to keep going at the elite level without fully burning himself out.
