'The boy has quality': Spurs fans laud Japhet Tanganga after solid Wolves display

Spurs saw off Wolves with relative ease this afternoon, as goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg got them over the line.

It could have been more as well for Spurs, who saw a number of good chances go begging, including a clear-cut rebound from Dele Alli which struck the foot of the Wolves post.

Ryan Mason has clearly got his team playing more freely. The shackles seem to be off a bit since Jose Mourinho left and it’s obvious that some players, like Alli and Bale, are enjoying their football a lot more.

Among the good performances today in the Spurs XI was young defender, Japhet Tanganga. The versatile youngster was brought in for Serge Aurier, and was even given the nod over former Wolves man, Matt Doherty.

Celtic fans left short-changed by Sky Sports once again

His performance was excellent again and Tanganga is really making a case for himself ahead of next season. Here’s a look at what some Spurs fans had to say about his display on Twitter.
