West Ham can reflect on another turbulent year at the London Stadium and will look to make progress in 2019.
The Hammers finished 13th in the Premier League for the 2017/18 season with David Moyes at the helm, before Manuel Pellegrini took over as manager in the summer.
Here is the standout best and worst match of 2018 for West Ham:
Best
Everton 1-3 West Ham, 16 September 2018
Pellegrini’s imprint on the West Ham team was in full flow in September when they beat Everton this season at Goodison Park.
Andriy Yarmolenko stole the headlines for his two-goal contribution, but the entire team was on top form on Merseyside.
Pellegirni is keen to have an attacking philosophy and that’s certainly possible with attackers such as Yarmolenko and Marko Arnautovic.

Worst
West Ham 0-3 Burnley, 10 March 2018
A real low point of the calendar year for the Hammers was the 3-0 result in the defeat to Burnley last season in the Premier League.
A toxic London Stadium atmosphere watched an embarassing loss, where West Ham dropped 16th in the table at the time and just three points above the relegation zone.
They have since completed a turnaround of sorts to be competing just outside the European spots and will be glad to be nowhere near a relegation fight again.
