Liverpool fans have been celebrating all day following last night’s win over Spurs but have been handed more positive news it seems by Thiago Alcantara.

The Spanish midfielder has struggled to get going since arriving in the summer and has missed the last couple of months with injury.

However, Thiago has teased on Twitter he is approaching a return to first XI action with a post on Twitter, showing the midfielder in training for the Reds.

The return of Thiago would be a huge boost for Jurgen Klopp ahead of the busy festive period. And with nine subs set to be a go from this weekend, the Spaniard might well get the nod for the Reds.

Liverpool fans, naturally, are delighted with what they’re seeing and have taken to Twitter to show their delight at seeing Thiago back.
