Paul Merson is backing Aston Villa to pick up a point when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Merson has shared his prediction for the game with Sportskeeda and feels Unai Emery and Ange Postecoglou will be forced to share the points.
Aston Villa head into Sunday’s clash in North London full of confidence after an exceptional start to the season.
The Villains make up the top five behind Spurs, with just a point separating the two sides at the moment.
Of course, Tottenham have also enjoyed an encouraging start to life under Postecoglou. The North Londoners were flying high at the top of the table before defeats to Chelsea and Wolves in the space of five days.

Spurs will also be without James Maddison and Micky van de Ven due to injuries, while Cristian Romero remains suspended.
Despite missing several key players, Paul Merson feels they coped well without the trio at Molineux and has backed them to pick up a point against an in-form Villa side.
Merson predicts Tottenham vs Villa
Speaking to Sportskeeda, Merson predicted Sunday’s game between Spurs and Villa to finish 1-1.
“There are about five Premier League teams that are fighting for a spot in Europe this season and Spurs are one of them,” he said. “Tottenham are still a very good team even with their injuries.
“Save for that mad few minutes at the end of the game against Wolves, Spurs did well in that game.
“As for Aston Villa, it’s hard to finish in the top four with an away record like theirs. They have to go to Tottenham and ensure they don’t get beaten there.
“As things stand, they are putting themselves under too much pressure to do it all at Villa Park. But that bubble will burst soon when the big teams come around to visit. It’ll be a massive result for whoever wins this game.
“The international break could be a bit of an equalizer and I think the points will be shared here.”

Spurs have probably benefited from the international break as it’s given them a chance to regroup after a chaotic week beforehand.
They will be boosted by the return of Destiny Udogie too, with the defender confirming he’s fit to play after missing out on the Italy squad due to a hamstring injury.
Villa haven’t been great on the road and have suffered some disappointing defeats away from home this season.
But in their current form, Tottenham face a stern test on Sunday given their current injury problems.
We think Merson isn’t far off with his prediction and can see a high-scoring draw on Sunday.
