Man City have reportedly told FC Barcelona that they have no interest in signing Antoine Griezmann this summer.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the La Liga giants are aware that City have no interest in buying the French international.
Griezmann was reportedly a target for City this summer. However, it now appears that the 30-year-old striker was never a target for Pep Guardiola’s side.

City are keen to sign a replacement for Sergio Aguero this summer. Indeed, the club have been linked with a plethora of strikers over the past few months.
And Griezmann is the latest name to face the chopping block. Moreover, City already have no intention in signing the likes of Lionel Messi and Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Indeed, supporters on social media were happy that the club have categorically told Barcelona that they have no interest in signing Griezmann this summer.

Furthermore, according to reports, Griezmann earns well over €800,000-a-week at Barcelona. Almost double what City’s highest earner, Kevin De Bruyne, makes according to Spotrac.
Here’s what some Man City fans had to say on Twitter about the club distancing themselves from Griezmann…

City will hope to sign a striker some point during this window. Indeed, as things stand, Gabriel Jesus is the club’s only natural and senior player in the position in the first-team squad.
