‘Thank god’: Arsenal fans react to news Dani Ceballos is set to Madrid return

Arsenal fans have been having their say on social media as Fabrizio Romano suggested that Dani Ceballos will return to Real Madrid in the summer.

Romano’s update came just a few days after Ceballos himself had said he was more suited to La Liga. Despite that admission, he still got the nod from Mikel Arteta against Villarreal and saw red in the first-leg in Spain.

And respected transfer guru Romano took to Twitter yesterday to all but confirm that Ceballos will leave Arsenal in the summer.

Naturally, plenty of Gunners fans took the time out to respond to the news from Romano and quite surprisingly, it seems a lot of Arsenal supporters are quite happy to see the back of Ceballos.

The Spaniard hasn’t quite delivered consistently for the Gunners and Mikel Arteta will, no doubt, seek a replacement this summer.

And that’s something that Arsenal fans would like to see happen, given some of the responses on Twitter to the news on Ceballos.
