Arsenal have suffered a blow in their attempt to sell Granit Xhaka to AS Roma this summer.
According to il Tempo via the Express, negotiations between the two clubs over the Swiss international have come to an end.
Indeed, Roma have been in talks with Arsenal over a deal for Xhaka for most of the summer.

Moreover, reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A side have agreed personal terms with Xhaka. However, Roma are yet to reach Arsenal’s matching price for the midfielder.
The Arsenal midfielder, who earns £100,000-a-week according to Spotrac, is a player Mikel Arteta is eager to sell this summer. Albert Sambi Lokonga has already been signed to replace the 28-year-old maestro.
