Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min went into the World Cup in Qatar with a nasty facial injury, and the South Korean is apparently still ‘hurting’.
That’s according to his international teammate Son Jun-ho, who is helping him head the ball in training ahead of their opening game against Uruguay tomorrow.

Teammate says Tottenham star Son Heung-min is still in pain
Son suffered a terrible injury during Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Marseille in the Champions League. A scan revealed he fractured the area around his left eye, and he had to undergo surgery to stabilise the wound (Sky Sports).
The £22 million (Guardian) man hasn’t played a game since, but he’s desperate to represent his country at the World Cup. Jun-ho revealed that the Tottenham attacker is still hurting, but he’s so determined that he’ll play through the pain.
He told Korean media outlet YNA: “Heung-min said he hadn’t yet headed the ball after his injury, so he asked me to toss him a few.
“So I did, and he did pretty well.
“He said he was still hurting, but I know he’s such a determined guy. Once he’s in the game, he’s going to forget about his pain and play.”

TBR View:
South Korea take on Uruguay in what will be a really difficult game tomorrow.
Diego Alonso’s side are many people’s dark horses at the World Cup, and players like Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez have what it takes to really trouble teams.
South Korea will go into the game tomorrow as the underdogs. Not many people expect them to come away with anything, but if Son is given the go-ahead to feature, he could have a real impact.
Fans of South Korea and Tottenham will be keeping their fingers crossed ahead of the game tomorrow.
