Everton are once again being linked with a move for Brazilian forward, Everton Soares.
According to reports from ESPN, the Toffees are preparing a bid in the region of £25m for the Gremio star.

The 23-year-old has caught the eye in the last few seasons. His form in South America has been excellent and he’s the latest Brazilian star to be touted as one of the next big things.
Already amassing double figures in caps for his country, it’s clear the Soares is highly-thought of in his homeland.
However, should Everton exercise caution when it comes to Soares? After all, things haven’t quite gone to plan with two of their big-money striker signings in recent times.
Risky business
Everton splashed the cash in recent years on forwards they thought would solve their goalscoring problems.
Cenk Tosun arrived to the tune of over £20m, while just this summer, Moise Kean joined from Juventus for another mammoth fee.
However, as we all know, Tosun has now signed for Crystal Palace. He scored only three times last season and has hit the net just once this term.
Kean, meanwhile, has failed to hit the ground running at all. He’s yet to get on the scoresheet for his new team and looks to be struggling massively at Goodison Park.

Therefore, Everton will be wary about spending big sums of money once again on a striker who’s unproven in European football and the Premier League.
Cause for optimism?
There’s always going to be a risk when signing any player for a big chunk of money. Everton, rightly so, will be especially wary given the failures of Tosun and Kean.
However, Everton Soares looks like a different animal. Furthermore, we’ve seen how Brazilians can be successful in England and at Goodison in particular, with Richarlison a prime example of this.
Soares has hit double figures in goals during the last two seasons. That in itself shows he knows where the back of the net is.
Everton, then, will be hoping for more Richarlison and less Tosun and Kean if they do indeed land Soares.
