Tottenham face a tricky decision to make over the future of Dele Alli, with Jose Mourinho hauling the England man off at half-time once again in midweek.
Alli has been cast aside by Mourinho and has only started three games this term for Spurs. In those three games, he’s yet to finish the 90 minutes and it looks like the writing could be on the wall for the 24-year-old.

It goes without saying that Alli needs to move on to get his career back on track a bit. A player of his age and quality cannot simply be sat on the bench all season, it’s just not healthy for him.
But, a door may well be open for Alli to move on, with Real Madrid midfielder Isco apparently desperate to leave the Spanish giants.
Of course, Madrid reportedly rejected the chance to sign Alli in the summer on loan. However, with Isco apparently desperate to leave the La Liga giants, could Spurs offer up Alli once again and land Isco in the process?
It’s certainly something Mourinho and Daniel Levy could consider.
Quality number ten
Isco is not just a nobody breaking into football. He’s also not really known as a trouble causer. This is a man who has 38 caps for Spain and has played over 300 times for Madrid. It goes without saying that this is a player of immense quality.
He’s till only 28, too, meaning his prime years could well still be ahead of him. Furthermore, Isco may also be tempted by the prospect of linking up with Jose Mourinho, while Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon could tempt him even more.

It could well be a situation that suits both clubs, as well as Dele Alli and Isco. The England man would get the chance at getting himself back on track at the highest level, while Isco would give Spurs a fine option in the number ten role.
Obviously, a lot of pieces would need to fall into place for this to happen. But in terms of ideal swap deals in football, this could be perfect for everyone.
