Paulo Gazzaniga was linked with moves to Everton and Liverpool (Express) during the transfer window and leaving Tottenham must be a priority this month.
The Argentine goalkeeper has gone from backup to Hugo Lloris to the third choice behind the Frenchman and Joe Hart in the space of a few months.
Gazzaniga arrived at Tottenham in 2017 from Southampton, having played under former boss Mauricio Pochettino at St Mary’s Stadium.

During his time in North London, he has been a capable understudy to Lloris and he surely won’t be happy with being bumped down the pecking order.
The 28-year-old played in 25 matches for Tottenham last season and proved himself to be a quality goalkeeper with some fine performances.
Spurs will probably look to offload him again during the January transfer window, but Gazzaniga should push for a move now.
Transfer windows remain open in Holland, Russia and Portugal, whilst he’d be a massive coup for any ambitious club in the Championship.
Overseas does look a more viable option for the man with one cap for the Argentina national team, given his £20,000-a-week wages.
Gazzaniga is a solid shot-stopper, claims crosses with aplomb and commands his area particularly well.
Regular game time
He is far too good to be sat as a third-choice goalkeeper, waiting for a call should anything happen to Lloris or Hart.

Not only that but after a taste of first-team football last season he will want to ensure that he continues to kick his career on.
Mourinho might want to keep three solid goalkeepers around the place but if Gazzaniga is seemingly third in line, he needs to be trying to forcing a move away.
At 28 he should be gearing towards his prime and he won’t do that playing zero football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
