Tottenham decided to grant their youngster Oliver Skipp his first move away on loan this summer, which is a transfer decision that is now looking like a superb piece of business after the opening month of the season.
The English midfielder is a product of the Spurs academy that is extremely highly-rated and he’s previously made 23 first-team appearances for them.
Jose Mourinho’s side allowed the 20-year-old to drop down to the Championship in search of regular senior minutes this campaign and they appear to have found the perfect suitors in Norwich City.
It’s one thing sending out a player on loan, but the North London side have found a club that have quickly made him feel right at home and are most importantly giving him opportunities.

Skipp has played every minute of Norwich’s four opening matches in the league and has been one of their strongest performers to date, helping to link up play in the centre of the park and cover plenty of ground.
The England Under-21 international was unlikely to get many chances in a competitive Spurs squad this season, but Mourinho has clearly recognised his talents.
He will be knocking on the first-team door again at Spurs next season if he can enjoy a strong individual campaign in the second-tier and the early signs are that he’s growing into a talisman at Carrow Road.
Norwich will surely be hoping to return at the first attempt to the Premier League after relegation last season and Skipp looks central to their plans, which can only be a good thing for Spurs in the long run.
