With Leeds United back in the Premier League after 16 long years out, attention has now turned to bolstering the Whites ranks to ensure Marcelo Bielsa’s charges can hit the ground running in the top flight.
One area where Leeds reportedly want to strengthen is in goal, with Kiko Casilla being linked with a move away.
Although Illan Meslier is talented and highly rated at Leeds, the jump to Premier League football might prove a bit much at this stage, given his age and relative lack of experience.

One player reportedly on the Elland Road radar is Argentina international Sergio Romero (ESPN).
The 33-year-old has been at Manchester United since 2015 and has made 61 competitive appearances for the club, as well as winning 96 caps for his country.
With Dean Henderson recently penning a new long-term contract at Old Trafford, Romero could potentially have gone further down the pecking order.
And according to ESPN, the club’s hierarchy is willing to listen to offers for Romero, alongside Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Andreas Pereira.
The report, however claims that so far, interested clubs have been put off by the wages they are on.
Sources reportedly told ESPN that the above players will likely need to accept pay cuts to secure moves away or negotiate a payoff with their club to compensate for time left on their contracts.

Romero is a goalkeeper of the highest calibre, one who should be getting regular first-team football instead of having to sit on the bench during the majority of matchdays.
Even though the Red Devils are reportedly willing to let him go, his current £70,000-a-week wages (Spotrac) does seem a little steep for a newly-promoted side.
However, a good goalkeeper is worth pushing the boat out for, and Romero, with his quality and experience – both overall and in England – could make all the difference for a Leeds side back in the big time.
