Adam Idah shot himself into the limelight yesterday and with Eddie Nketiah now gone, Leeds United should consider a move for him.
The Norwich City teenager bagged himself a hat-trick as the Canaries romped to a 4-2 win at Preston North End yesterday. It was only the second time Idah had started a senior game for Norwich.

He has already made his Premier League debut. But now, after firing in three goals to see Daniel Farke’s men into the fourth round of the FA Cup, the spotlight will be firmly on the youngster.
Farke will, no doubt, be keen to keep a watchful eye over Idah and how he develops. However, with Teemu Pukki the main man at Carrow Road, a loan move could make sense for the 18-year-old.
That’s where Leeds could step in and aid his development.
More than just game time
Despite Eddie Nketiah failing to get the number of minutes he would have liked at Elland Road, there’s little denying he will have learnt a lot under Marcelo Bielsa.
If Norwich wanted to see Adam Idah develop quickly, then sending him to work under Bielsa might be a smart move.

Leeds, on the other hand, would be getting a striker who is already used to biding his time and waiting for game time.
However, they’d also be getting a young, hungry player. A player who is desperate to score goals and has just shown he knows where the net is. With Leeds hunting promotion, having someone like this in the ranks could be crucial.
Only just getting started
Of course, Idah is only just getting going in his career. But the performance yesterday at Deepdale seemed no fluke.
His movement, speed, and the manner in which he took his chances were all impressive. He’s clearly someone who is very highly-rated by Daniel Farke.
If Farke isn’t going to play him, then he could do a lot worse than send him to Leeds for the rest of the campaign.
