Jack Grealish is getting better and better every week. Most recently, he earned his side a point against Brighton with a brilliant left-footed finish. The 24-year-old is getting rave reviews for his recent performances and needs to make a move from Aston Villa this month – here is why.
The midfielder is currently in the form of his life. He has scored seven goals and assisted five in 21 Premier League appearances. If things continue the way they are going, Grealish could single-handedly keep the Villains in the top flight this season.

However, he cannot do it all on his own. The team is beginning to rely on him too much and the club is currently sat one place inside the relegation zone. Another relegation would not look great on Grealish despite a brilliant personal season. If Villa do not make some significant moves this month, leaving should certainly be on the Englishman’s mind.
The difficulty lies with Grealish himself, who is a lifelong Villa fan. Keeping the club up would no doubt mean an awful lot to him. He will also be well aware that without him, Dean Smith’s team will probably be playing Championship football next season.

But the rewards he could reap from a move away from the club this month are huge. Within weeks, he could be playing Champions League football against the world’s best and with that comes greater exposure of his talents. Grealish is yet to make a senior England appearance. A move to a top club could be what he needs to get into Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad.
Villa’s star man would get into any Premier League midfielder at the moment. He is just that good. A move will depend on whether he decides to remain loyal to his boyhood club, or feels that his career must come first. The sky is the limit for the young midfielder.
