According to a report from Eurosport, Chelsea could be open to the idea of loaning out Callum Hudson-Odoi in January with the England international struggling to play regular football at Stamford Bridge.
The report claims a loan move is not out of the question for the talented winger, especially with his hopes of a place in the England squad for next summer’s suspended European Championships in doubt.
So should Everton be ready to swoop?
Chelsea have certainly been rewarded by sending players on loan to Goodison Park in the past.

Romelu Lukaku became an incredibly valuable asset after his sensational form on loan in Merseyside. Everton eventually paid big money to secure him permanently. Kurt Zouma spent the 2017-18 campaign at Goodison and put behind him the misery of a relegation season at Stoke City. Now, the Frenchman is looking like a prominent cog in the Chelsea wheel going forward.
As for Everton, there is no doubt a place for Hudson-Odoi in the team.
The Toffees have struggled with strength in depth in the wide areas this season as Alex Iwobi struggles for form and Bernard appears to be trusted more in a central role.
Richarlison is more potent in a two-man attack whilst there is scope for James Rodriguez to play as a playmaker if Everton had a top-quality winger to replace him.
Everton have been good to Chelsea in the past when it comes to their loan players and the same could happen here. Meanwhile, Everton might manage to coax the best out of Hudson-Odoi and have his aid in their own hunt for European football.
This is a deal that would make sense for all parties come January.
