TBR View: Everton have a great chance of landing 'really amazing' manager who Moshiri loves
Everton are continuing to look for a new manager in wake of Carlo Ancelotti’s shock departure.
The Toffees are apparently keen on Nuno Espirito Santo, who recently left Wolves.
Crystal Palace were also eyeing the Portuguese, and were reportedly in talks with him.
However, it looks as though the Eagles won’t be pursuing Nuno any longer.
According to the Daily Mail, they have pulled the plug amid concerns over his demands.
The outlet claims that Palace have refused to meet a set of new stipulations made by Nuno late on Tuesday night.
They reportedly wanted Nuno to be their new head coach during talks over the past 10 days.
The Eagles were apparently hopeful of getting a definitive answer within the next 48 hours.
This was amid concerns Everton could launch a last-minute attempt to hijack their move.
But following further talks on Tuesday night, Palace have taken the decision to explore alternative targets, added the report.
If the report is true, then Everton could well step in once again.

Sky Sports recently claimed that Toffees majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is a big fan of Nuno.
He has apparenly been impressed by Wolves’ development under the former Porto goalkeeper.
And Moshiri sees the 47-year-old as an excellent fit to work with the current Everton squad, added the report.
“Everton see him as a candidate that is hungry for success and with a point to prove after his unexpected sacking by Wolves at the end of the season,” they added.
The Daily Mail, meanwhile, suggested that the Toffees “would likely offer Santo a more substantial budget and wage package”.
Nuno even has the Jose Mourinho seal of approval, the former Spurs boss praising his “really, really amazing work” at Wolves in 2019.
Surely Everton are now in pole position to land Nuno.
