Arsenal defeated Dundalk 4-2 to end their Europa League campaign on a high last night. In Emile Smith Rowe, however, Mikel Arteta is facing a massive conundrum.
The youngster claimed an assist last night to go with his goal in the last Europa League games against Rapid Vienna.
He is yet to make a single appearance in the Premier League this season though and with that in mind, there is a decision to make.
Smith Rowe spent some time on loan at Huddersfield last season and his game seems to have come on leaps and bounds.

A shoulder injury didn’t help his hopes of another loan – or earn a regular chance to shine at the Emirates Stadium.
Smith Rowe could be the creative spark that Arsenal desperately crave.
Having not played him all season domestically though it seems a long shot that Arteta will just simply throw him in.
As a result, and despite his solid showing in the Europa League, Arsenal should perhaps look at letting the youngster out on loan.
Smith Rowe showcased his talents last night despite playing out of position.
He lined-up on the left of a front three when he’s more accustomed to playing through the centre.
Quality
Adopting a versatile nature will put him in good shape in the future but in the here and now he simply needs to be playing football.
It won’t do his development any good playing bits and bobs here and there.

Smith Rowe has a bundle of tricks, can pass the ball and has energy levels to rival other players in his position.
Right now though first-team football is paramount for his development and a loan move still looks sensible.
Arteta must think long and hard over what is best for Smith Rowe.
