Losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a scary thought for Arsenal. He has scored 14 goals in 22 Premier League games this season and is the club’s most important player. Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona are considering a move for the forward, but Gunners fans need not fear. They are in safe hands when the deadly striker moves on.
Gabriel Martinelli is looking like an extremely promising talent and looks ready to step up into regular first-team action. The 18-year-old, who cost £6 million from Ituano FC (Goal), has scored 10 goals in just 21 appearances for the club this season and showcased his talent for all to see on Tuesday night.

The young Brazilian was trusted in what was an important game against Chelsea and he seriously repaid that trust. He put in an all-action display full of hard work and dangerous runs. Martinelli then capped it off with a brilliantly taken goal.
He picked the ball up inside the Arsenal half and despite getting lucky with an N’Golo Kante slip, ran the length of the pitch before calmly slotting it past the Chelsea goalkeeper. It leveled things up and galvanised Arsenal to take the game to the Blues.

The composure the young forward showed was perhaps the most impressive part of his goal. He had so long to think about the finish and many a striker would have fluffed their lines in that position.
Mikel Arteta will be delighted with what he saw from the youngster against Chelsea. He will surely now be considered for further league starts and is looking more than capable of taking the reigns from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if and when the 30-year-old moves on.
