Liverpool are on a mission to retain their Premier League crown this season and with Jurgen Klopp at the helm, there is every possibility of it happening.
The Reds haven’t had the best of luck with injuries this season, however.
With that in mind, Liverpool might look to add some new recruits during the January window.
Knowing Klopp, it wouldn’t be a surprise, however, if he chose to place his faith in the youngsters and save his transfer kitty for the summer.

One name which is emerging as a potential target is midfielder Renato Sanches.
According to Le10 Sport, the Portuguese star is wanted by Liverpool as a potential replacement for Gini Wijnaldum.
The 23-year-old is currently playing for Lille where he has scored once in eight outings this season.
The £50,000-a-week youngster burst onto the scene and was seen as a future star. Failed spells at Benfica, Bayern Munich and Swansea, however, have seen his development tail off a little.
Klopp has worked wonders for players suffering from a confidence crisis in the past and clearly, he sees something in Sanches.
On current form, Liverpool will surely be trying to keep Wijnaldum at the football club.
With Barcelona reportedly keen though, they could be powerless when it comes to offering him a contract extension.
As a result, it makes perfect sense for Liverpool to be eyeing a replacement.
Some supporters might fancy a stellar recruit but that doesn’t mean Sanches should be dismissed.
Although he is yet to fulfil his potential that doesn’t mean Klopp won’t get a tune out of him.
The skilful performer typically plays through the middle and his energy would certainly make him ideal for Klopp’s three-man midfield.
Edwards masterclass
There would be very few Liverpool fans who would consider arguing with Michael Edwards when it comes to transfers.

The Liverpool recruitment guru has pulled rabbits out of hats on many occasions and he should be trusted.
Sanches might prove to be an intriguing signing initially but if Klopp gets him playing, he could prove to be another masterstroke by Edwards.
