Tottenham midfielder Jack Roles has completed a loan move away from the club in search of first-team minutes.
Spurs confirmed (official website) that the 20-year-old has joined League Two side Cambridge United on a short-term basis until January.
He’s one of several players to depart the North London club on loan to continue their development elsewhere and that’s something that highly-rated Tashan Oakley-Boothe should look towards.
Oakley-Boothe should follow suit by asking for a loan move before some of the transfer windows outside the Premier League shut.
The 19-year-old would surely be an attractive option for a team down in League One or League Two, while the Scottish window remains open for now.

Oakley-Boothe made his sole first-team appearance for Spurs back in September 2017, but hasn’t featured for the senior team since and been unable to make a breakthrough.
The central midfielder has been restricted to youth football and he’s played twice for the Under-23s team so far this campaign.
He was key part of the England Under-17s side that won the World Cup back in 2017 and he’s seen teammates from that side such as Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White make significant progress in their careers.
Oakley-Boothe could really do with a loan spell if he is going to kick on and some time in a first-team environment would be a real test.
