Tammy Abraham blown away by Aston Villa teammate Jack Grealish

Tammy Abraham has hailed Aston Villa teammate Jack Grealish as a special talent and even made a huge comparison with Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard.

Abraham is currently on loan at Villa from Chelsea and is aiming to help them secure promotion from the Championship.

He’s been one of the outstanding players this campaign for the Midlands giants, but they have been massively boosted by the return of Grealish in recent games from injury.

Grealish’s comeback has coincided with four consecutive victories to move into the play-off spots and he’s scored two goals.

The 23-year-old is an influential attacking midfielder that provides a spark going forward and has brilliant creativity.

Abraham has gone as far to say that he’s got similar characteristics to Belgium international Hazard, who is considered by many as one of the world-class players in the Premier League.

“Jack is an unbelievable player. The things he has, things he can do with the ball – you can’t teach it. He’s born with it,” Abraham said, as quoted by the club’s official website.

“He reminds me of Eden Hazard. Once Jack adds a few more goals and assists, he’ll be on that level. He has the same attributes – the way he dribbles, protects the ball, sees a pass, plays one-twos. He’s very intelligent.”

TBR’s View:

Grealish is a special talent that shines bright in the Championship and will feel he’s got a big role to play in the race for promotion.

The English playmaker can unlock the door to defences with his vision, but it’s true that he does need to add more goals to his game and over a consistent time period.

He’s needs to return to the Premier League quickly to test himself against the best and he will hope that it’s in a Villa shirt.

The comparisons to Hazard are far-fetched, but Grealish does look a class above in the Championship.
