Jason Cundy has told talkSPORT that he does not believe that there is anything between David Beckham and Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane when it comes to passing.
Kane, of course, is threatening to become the most lethal goalscorer in Premier League history. He is now fifth on the list and does not even turn 29 until the summer.

But another side of his game has developed to a scary level in the past few years. He is now one of the best providers in the division also.
Since the start of the 2020/21 campaign, Kane has provided 19 assists in the Premier League for Tottenham. And some of those assists have been absolutely outrageous.

His partnership with Son Heung-min is now the most prolific in Premier League history. And the goal that gave them the record encapsulated just how incredible Kane has become as a playmaker.
He played the most delicious ball over the top to Son in the 4-0 victory at Leeds. Unsurprisingly, the South Korean ran some distance to make sure that he could celebrate with Kane.
Cundy was asked who is the better passer out of Kane and Beckham. And while he ultimately opted to call it a draw, his first answer saw the Tottenham striker get the nod, much to the surprise of his co-presenter.
“Kane, I think Kane is one of the best passers right now,” he told talkSPORT. “There’s nothing in it. Kane’s passing is unbelievable.
“I’ve not said [Beckham’s] a bad passer of the ball. There’s nothing in it. Honestly, Kane is that good.”
Debate shows just how good Kane has become as quarterback for Tottenham
Beckham is one of the greatest strikers of the ball the Premier League has seen. His ability to find a teammate was mesmerising at times.
So it says a great deal that there is even a debate to be had. Obviously, some will have some strong opinions and feel that Kane is not on the same level.
But there will be plenty who will feel that Kane has cemented his place alongside the elite with his recent form for Tottenham.
That is a remarkable achievement.
