Dominic Calvert-Lewin is enjoying his best season in an Everton shirt and took some time out for a series of photos with fellow youngster Tom Davies.
There were some interesting fashion choices on show for the pair as Calvert-Lewin posted on his Instagram about his closeness with Davies, as well as his desire to stand out.
Everton’s official Twitter account picked out the post and uploaded their own message about the pair and their sartorial choices which stood out.
They seemed to catch the eye of one former Everton defender, Sylvain Distin. It’s perhaps fair to say that there weren’t too many players wearing that kind of gear when he was playing at Goodison Park.
Really ???? ?

TBR’s View – Calvert-Lewin’s confidence shining through
Let’s be honest, for a lot of fans – and your writer – the pair look ridiculous and it’s perhaps prove that money can’t buy fashion sense.
But it’s also a sign of Calvert-Lewin’s confidence right now that he is prepared to put something like that out there.
Everton are flying at the moment and for example, it’s not the kind of post which would fly after the 1-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield but now he can get away with it.
He could well be in with an outside shout of getting into England’s Euro 2020 squad, if he keeps his head down, keeps the confidence up and doesn’t go too far with his use of social media, which was a pitfall which has contributed to Jesse Lingard’s fall out of the Three Lions picture.
