A number of Swindon Town fans have heaped praise on Jordan Stevens after the Leeds United loanee marked his debut with a goal in a 4-2 win.
The Robins returned to winning ways on Saturday. And it was Stevens who got them up and running in the early stages of their clash with Burton Albion.
The 20-year-old won the ball back in the middle of the park with an excellent sliding challenge. And he immediately picked himself up and used his pace to sprint down the right flank.
The ball was played into his path. Stevens then took a superb first touch before unleashing a low drive into the bottom corner after seven minutes.
It was a debut display that was lauded by many of the Swindon fans on social media. Plenty already feel that he is going to prove to be a fantastic signing for the club over the coming season.
He has been on the cusp of the Leeds first-team for some time. He has featured six times under Marcelo Bielsa, with five of those appearances coming in the Championship.
And it is clear that several Swindon fans are excited about the impact that he is going to make over the coming months.
He has certainly got off to a fantastic start with a goal in his first appearance for the club.

Quality. Needs League One 90 min fitness but that will come. Very excited to see his development over the season though ⚽️

Great hassle to win the ball for his own goal. Good finish too. Considering it’s his first game, looking forward to what’s to come.
