Liverpool fans are urging the club to consider a swap deal following Sassuolo’s interest in Marko Grujic.
Grujic to Italy?
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Sassuolo are keen on Grujic as a replacement for Manuel Locatelli.
It seems that the Italian midfielder, who is valued at £35 million (TuttoMercatoWeb), is set to leave the Serie a side, and Liverpool fans think that the possibility of a swap deal is now a strong one.
They are suggesting that Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards should use Sassuolo’s interest in Grujic to their advantage.
And many Liverpool fans feel that the door may just have opened to a swap deal.
Would it suit Liverpool?
In truth an exchange could actually make a lot of sense for Liverpool.
The Reds are looking for a midfielder to replace Georginio Wijanldum, but are doing so on a limited budget.
If they could get money off Locatelli by using Grujic in a deal then that would surely work in their advantage.

Locatelli’s stock has never been higher than it currently is, as he helped Italy win the European Championship.
The midfielder was very impressive at the tournament, with his performances highly eye catching.
And if he could offer that sort of quality to Liverpool, then he would be an appealing addition to their squad.
