‘Swap deal for Ozil?’: Arsenal fans react to transfer links with Berkay Ozcan

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter after reports emerged yesterday linking the Gunners with a move for Basaksehir midfielder, Berkay Ozcan.

Transfermarkt claimed the report as an exclusive. The outlet believing Mikel Arteta is keen on the Turkish midfielder, who caught the eye for Arsenal back in 2017.

Ozcan, 22, has made six appearances for Turkey and continues to see his stock rise thanks, in part, to his excellent performances in Europe with the Turkish side this term.

Arsenal fans, then, have been having their say on the rumours on social media and a number of Gunners fans seem keen on the deal happening, with suggestions of a Mesut Ozil swap even coming to the fore. There are, of course, those who aren’t sure and doubt the club’s willingness to do the deal.
