Swansea fans react as West Brom reportedly eye Andre Ayew
A number of Swansea City fans have taken to Twitter following reports from the Daily Mail this week suggesting that Andre Ayew is wanted by the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Brighton.
It is looking set to be a nervy few days for the Swans. As noted by BBC Sport, Steve Cooper’s men are bracing themselves for a bid for Joe Rodon from Tottenham.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail has claimed that Ayew is on West Brom and Brighton’s radar.
Baggies boss Slaven Bilic has previously signed Ayew. The Ghana international cost West Ham a then-club record £20.5 million when he joined the Hammers in 2016 (via BBC Sport).

So following his outstanding season in the Championship last term, it is arguably little surprise that he may be on West Brom’s radar heading into Friday’s deadline.
The 30-year-old scored 16 goals and contributed seven assists as the Swans reached the play-off semi-final last season. He has also already opened his account for this campaign.
And it may encourage the West Brom supporters that plenty of Swansea fans clearly do not want to see him leave the Liberty Stadium.
Here is how some of the Swansea supporters have reacted to the reports linking the forward with a move away…
Great player, great attitude but he has to go as we simply cant afford to keep him!

Ayew leaving would be gutting because he’s been brilliant since coming back, but the fact is we cannot afford to keep him unless Rodon moves on. Ayew despite how brilliant he has been, remains a massive problem
