Tottenham came from behind to beat Crystal Palace today and Graham Roberts had big praise for a couple of their star players.

Spurs sae Ebere Eze score to give Palace the lead but fought back in true Spurs fashion to pick up a big win and continue their push for a top four spot.

In the end, goals from Timo Werner, Cristian Romero, and then Heung-Min Son ensured a big three points for Ange Postecoglou’s side as they continue to keep up the pressure in the hunt for Champions League football.

And taking to social media after the game, former Tottenham ace Graham Roberts labelled the performance of Mickey van de Ven as ‘superb’, while also picking out Brennan Johnson for praise as well.

Tottenham show their mettle again

How many times have we seen this from Tottenham this season? They looked down and out for parts of the game but rallied to score in quick succession and turn the game on its head.

This is becoming quite the trait for Tottenham and it’s one that fans absolutely love to see as well.

For Postecoglou and his coaching staff, it will delight them to see their team keeping on going even when the performance in the opening 45 minutes is not what they’re after.

In the end, Spurs showed the grit, determination and quality to win from nowhere and continue what has, in the main, been a fine season so far.
