Sunderland face a real battle to keep Josh Maja at the club, given his excellent form this season and his contract situation.
Maja is out of contract at the end of this season and Sunderland are no closer to tying him down to a new deal.
Unsurprisingly, this has alerted a number of clubs. The newest team to enter the race is Celtic, according to The Scottish Sun.
While Celtic could try to strike a pre-contract agreement with Maja, they might also fancy bringing him in now to bolster their attack.
The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals in 29 games this season, leading the line for Sunderland in their quest for promotion.
And if Celtic try to sign him this month, Sunderland should ask for Lewis Morgan on loan as part of the deal.

This report by The Scottish Sun indicates that Celtic could offer Morgan or Jack Hendry on loan as a makeweight to bring Maja to Scotland.
But after signing Jimmy Dunne, there is no need for another centre-back like Hendry. Instead, Morgan would be the ideal signing, given his success working under Jack Ross before.
The 22-year-old spent time under Ross at St Mirren and they worked together to achieve promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
Morgan scored 29 goals for St Mirren, including 18 in the promotion winning campaign last season. A reunion with Ross could help launch his career at Celtic, which has been stuttering this term.
And the two-cap Scotland winger would improve Sunderland’s options ahead of the promotion run-in.
