Sunderland are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola this summer but may have to part with a whopping £2.75million to land him – and Sunderland fans have reacted on Twitter.
FootRDC claims 24-year-old Tshibola is ‘in the spotlight’ of Sunderland, who want to add the DR Congo international after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Oxford United last time out.
Tshibola, a £5million (Express) signing from Reading in the summer of 2016, has only managed 10 appearances for the Midlands club since he was brought to Villa Park by Roberto Di Matteo.

Indeed, Tshibola has spent the last 18 months on loan at Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock, where he has impressed. Indeed, the midfielder has clocked up 43 appearances for Killie in all competitions.
Now, Sunderland are keen to bring the midfielder to the Stadium of Light but it is unclear whether the Black Cats want to sign the midfielder permanently, or on loan – with Villa holding out for £2.75million.
Sunderland fans reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club could be about to sign Tshibola from Aston Villa, and many are excited at the prospect of a Tshibola in a red and white shirt.
